Lily Von Deylen

Associate

For Lily, meaningful design also begins with listening.

Lily is an architectural designer with a Bachelor of Architecture from Ball State University and five years of experience spanning commercial, hospitality, and multi-family housing typologies, including affordable and permanent supportive housing initiatives that serve local communities. She contributes to work at every stage of the design process, from early concept work through project completion.

Her community-based design approach is rooted in the belief that architecture is one of the most human endeavors there is. The built environment is the backdrop of human experience; the places where individual lives unfold and collective memories are made. Within any single structure, countless unique experiences exist simultaneously, which is why she approaches every project with thoughtfulness and a genuine commitment to the people it will serve. That commitment carries through her work from the architecture to the interior details, ensuring that each layer of a space is cohesive and intentional.

She believes that gathering insight and feedback directly from the communities being served is essential and the best architecture doesn’t just exist within a community, it reflects and supports it. Paired with strong graphic communication skills, she brings clarity to how ideas are developed and presented, making the design process as thoughtful and collaborative as the work itself.
