10100 Santa Monica Boulevard
Located on Santa Monica Boulevard overlooking the LA Country Club, 10100 is an existing office tower repositioned to include an updated main lobby, new storefronts and exterior landscape, and a fresh, elegant identity fitting for its famed and busy urban context.
The original 10100 Santa Monica Boulevard, headquarters of Alcoa Aluminum, consists of a single twenty-six-story tower completed in 1971. Through a phased renovation process, in pursuit of a premier corporate address, the client prioritized modernizing the tower by reglazing the exterior lobbies, renovating the lobby spaces, transforming the landscaped spaces surrounding the tower, and providing state-of-the-art facilities for the office tenants.
The reglazed main lobby storefronts on both sides of the tower, featuring double-height glass walls, offer visual transparency for a seamless inside-outside experience. The renovated main lobby, clad in Italian white marble with monumental walls extending 20 feet high, creates a grand lobby encouraging activity among entering and exiting from the exterior landscaped areas. The manicured landscape and contemporary detailing complement the lobby’s blank canvas, bringing new life and modernization to the address.
