Business Furniture – Bearing Drive

studioAXIS and Business Furniture +Choreo have worked together for over two decades on various projects. They first teamed up in 1995 when studioAXIS designed the original Business Furniture showroom.

In 2016, it became apparent that Business Furniture needed a new space that showcased their company philosophy that a workspace influences the culture of a business as well as its bottom line. For this project, studioAXIS transformed an 11,000 square-foot space with 30-foot ceilings into an inspiring showroom. The space, which is located in and Industrial park in Indianapolis, blends organic forms and natural colors with funky textures and vibrant accents.

The $1.8 million design also took the “power of choice” into account, as well as the connection between people and space. Thanks to moveable furniture and pivoting doors, the space is flexible and adjustable and is design to serve multiple purposes. Since the project’s completion in 2016, the space not only serves as an event and training space but also as a showcase to the different solutions they offer clients including private meeting rooms, integrate technology and a collaborative atmosphere.
