Eli Lilly and Company – Lilly LIFE Center

Located on Eli Lilly’s main campus, the Lilly LIFE Center is a freestanding facility that defines the campuses southeast boundary and appropriately creates a more solid secure perimeter, punctuated with openings to view the commuter bicycle area, that opens up towards the campus interior. On the campus interior, the Lilly LIFE Center creates a sense of transparency to develop a seamless indoor – outdoor experience that finds the building fronting a jogging track & soccer field and a series of pathways that weave throughout the campus creating a connective environment.

The facility includes multi-purpose exercise rooms, showers and locker rooms, commuter bicycle storage, a café & juice bar with outdoor seating open to the jogging track, and maintenance facilities. The Lilly Life Center’s interior creates a minimalistic approach to the varied spaces with an industrial aesthetic of exposed ceilings & building systems, an exposed structural steel frame, and polished concrete floors.
