Sullivan Central Park Plaza

The design for the Sullivan Central Park Plaza, located adjacent to the Sullivan Civic Center on an entire city block in the city center, will create a vibrant urban landscape in the heart of Sullivan. The park will serve as a catalyst for economic development by attracting local businesses and developers into the center of the city. By providing a robust place for farmers’ markets, festivals, concerts, outdoor games, and even an ice-skating rink in winter, the City of Sullivan intends to use the park to retain a younger generation of families in Sullivan County.

The Sullivan Central Park Plaza contains 2,500 seats of lawn seating that also serves as a connecting greenspace between the plaza and the Sullivan Civic Center. The program for the facility included a permanent stage, artist dressing rooms and crew accommodations, acoustic stage treatments, and public restroom facilities all combined to offer an unmatched intimate live experience. With its central location and strong market position, the Sullivan Central Park Plaza will serve as the foundation for elevating the artist and guest experience for years to come.
