Yintech Headquarters
Yintech Headquarters, located in Shanghai’s emerging Hongqiao district, provides a dynamic Class A workplace and an iconic visible presence that draws top financial investors and visitors alike for one of China’s largest financial-tech firms.
Two rectangular office blocks that are both rational and sculptural in form, straddling a full-height atrium and connected by bridges, allow for a combination of large-scale office floor plates and unique spaces of activity including landscaped terraces, a sunken courtyard, restaurants, and roof gardens. Located along Xumin East Road three kilometers west of Shanghai’s Hongqiao International Airport, Yintech Headquarters’ main entrance and vehicular drop-off are located on the north side of the building with a pedestrian entrance on the east side of the building. The main lobby’s “piano nobile” level is set 6 meters above grade creating a “black box” below the lobby floor housing the firm’s theater, broadcasting space, and production studios. Within the 13-story building, a circulation system is interwoven among the office spaces on each side of the atrium, and crossing the atrium intermittently, creating a continuous “ribbon” of movement from the main lobby to the CEO’s private roof garden.
The China Green Building Label-certified tower features operable windows for climate control, deep vertical mullions, and highly articulated, vertically textured curtain walls that allow for increased interior lighting on the north façade and shade on the south, east and west façades. With its sustainability measures, energy efficiency, and overall responsible form, the Yintech Headquarters sets a new standard for Shanghai’s growing west business and cultural district.
