Jennifer Velazquez is an Interior Designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Purdue University, where she studied interior design and entrepreneurship. As a first-generation college graduate, Jennifer brings a thoughtful, grounded perspective to her work, shaped by her personal journey and a strong desire to create spaces that positively impact people’s everyday lives.
Inspired by her mother’s entrepreneurial mindset, Jennifer developed an early interest in understanding what it takes to build something meaningful, which continues to influence her professional aspirations. She was an active member of the ASID and IIDA Indiana Chapters in college, maintaining strong connections within the design community and she hopes to continue her involvement beyond her collegiate experience.
Jennifer is passionate about designing environments that prioritize both experience and functionality. She believes that because people spend most of their time indoors, interior design should go beyond aesthetics to improve well-being, comfort, and accessibility. Her approach is rooted in carefully considering how individuals move through and feel within a space—asking critical questions about flow, first impressions, and emotional impact
With experience in residential design, Jennifer understands how meaningful environments can shape behavior and enhance daily life. She strives to create spaces that are welcoming, intuitive, and memorable—ultimately designing with people at the center of every decision.
