Shreya has always been intrigued by the interplay of spaces, memories, trajectories, and emotions. Her upbringing in Dubai, led her to witness the dynamic evolution of the cityscape and sparked her fascination with architecture.
Beginning her career as an architect in Dubai, Shreya worked for 3 years on various residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and landscape projects. Her journey continued with graduate studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, further refining her craft. Shreya always strives to push boundaries with each project and relishes new design challenges. She is constantly honing her skillset and thrives in the collaborative side of the industry.
Her global experiences have influenced her people-centric approach to design. She believes that there is a constant and delicate balance of respecting and maintaining the local identity, while also creating spaces that truly become intersections of different languages, cultures, and identities.
Shreya sees architecture as a powerful tool for addressing pressing societal and climate issues. Good design has the ability to serve both the client and the broader community, enriching neighborhoods. With functionality at the forefront to her design process, she aims to create designs that can leave a positive social impact on the communities it serves.
