Kathleen brings her natural eye for detail and design to every project, providing a broad skillset and a multifaceted perspective.
Kathleen is a Partner and Interior Designer at STUDIOAXIS with a design approach that is deeply rooted in empathy, observation, and research. She believes this empathic approach is critical in creating spaces with a sense of place that prioritize the human experience.
After successfully owning and running a commercial interior architectural design studio for nearly a decade, Kathleen came to STUDIOAXIS in 2014. Over the past 27 years Kathleen has amassed a strong portfolio of work working with innovative companies such as Microsoft, Salesforce, Eli Lilly, and IndyGo as well as numerous healthcare institutions, working on a range of project scales from renovations to replacement hospitals. She has an extensive professional background in furniture design, strategic sales, business strategy, and workplace strategy.
The trust Kathleen builds with her clients provides her the opportunity to lead them through a successful design process. She guides clients on the importance of connection to place along with how design can amplify the experience within spaces, taking them well beyond initial design expectations. As a design lead, she challenges the design teams to create and implement human focused spaces which feed the subconscious; spaces that feel good, have purpose, and which have been perfectly orchestrated through programing and design that is thoughtful and intentional.
